The Eternal Laws

(Excerpt from "From India to the Truth")

We have so far considered three Laws of Creation:

1. The Law of Karma or the Law of Reciprocal Action - "as you sow, so you reap, and you cannot reap what you have not sown".

2. The Law of Attraction of Homogeneous Species - "birds of a feather flock together", "like father like son", "vibrating on the same wavelength" etc.

3. The Law of Spiritual Gravity - "karmaic guilt is burdensome and weighs down on the soul, whereas striving for spiritual development makes the soul less dense and uplifts it to the Luminous Heights."

These three Laws form the "core operating system" of the entire Creation, if such an expression can be used. Indeed Creation is very much a living piece of machinery, where the Laws have been built into the system like a computer program driving or automating its working! The Laws can also be regarded as the "engine" of Creation, perpetually running without any halts or gaps to ensure that Creation is kept in perfect balance and harmony.

One need not be extremely astute to immediately notice the difference between the Laws of Creation and those laws that have emerged from various religious groups, including those that are commonly found in India's many religions. Religious laws are really dictates or exhortations that tell people what to do without allowing them their own personal recognition of the right way. They are set up in order to control the people, instead of allowing them the natural progression of the free will, which latter only wants to find the way to the Light unaided.

They usually read as "you must do this and this but not that!" Such laws are of course only man-made; they could never come from the Light! No law is true law that prevents the human spirit from unfolding its wings in Creation and achieving those things that it is meant to achieve in accordance with its nature and talents!

They may have been originally set up so as to bring about communal order in the society according to the basic tenets of the religion. But in most cases, these religious laws do not help the human spirit ascend in Creation, because each person who blindly submits to them is prevented from finding his true spiritual path. Yet only genuine and living conviction can help a person ascend, not blind faith in doctrines, commandments and traditions that only veil the path to the Light. Man-made religious and political laws can never set anyone on the right path, because they are spiritually empty. They do not contain that kind of warmth which should simultaneously resonate within our innermost beings.

The Eternal Laws of Creation, however, are not so cold and rigid. They are permeated with a living life! They do not tell us what to do; for we are meant to find our personal tasks in Creation solely through the Knowledge of the Eternal Laws. The Eternal Laws simply work endlessly, driving each of our decisions to its ultimate fulfilment.

Firstly, the Law of Karma brings us either good or bad fruits according to what we have sown. Secondly, the Law of Attraction of Homogeneous Species connects us with those of a similar inner volition so that we may either be further blessed through the collective striving or see our own weaknesses magnified several times in these others until we decide to strive for something different and more noble. And finally, the Law of Spiritual Gravity uplifts us to the Luminous Heights if we have striven aright, or casts us down into the depths if we have only fostered evil!

These words are few, but the concepts are immense! For the Eternal Laws contain a Perfection that cannot be found in any other philosophy of Creation! Only balance and equilibrium, justice and harmony would eventually emerge from the outworking of the Laws, if man only knew how to swing in them correctly. There is no trace of injustice, no favouritism, no double standard in the Laws. Perfect, just as the Creator Himself is forever Perfect! Exactly in accordance with the supreme premise postulated earlier!

We can also recognise from the foregoing explanations that there are not really three different Laws, but that there is only one simple Law operating in three different ways!

This Law can be called the Law of Balance and Equilibrium, the Law of Love and Justice, or just simply, the Law of Perfection!

In fact one could go so far as to say that God Himself is this very Law of Perfection, i.e. that that is how He works in His Creation. Therefore this Law could also be described as His Holy Will or as the Supreme Truth. All help, all providence, all benevolence and all punishment stem from Him, from this living Truth.

The Eternal Laws do not tell us what to do. They do not state that we should perform only certain rites and rituals in order to attain Salvation. We must seek out our own path in Creation in the conviction that these Laws will unfailingly bring us the complete fruits of all our deeds. It is for this purpose that we have the free will which, when aided by the intuition and the Knowledge of the Eternal Laws, helps us make the right choices for ourselves in the future, while we continually experience the fruits of our deeds.

Hence each person can build up a perfectly natural and personally unique life and experience the full measure of all that he has sown in Creation. Through this he will automatically recognise the longed-for Right Way, because it is only that Way which brings him the greatest spiritual fruits.

Thus there is no need for religious or spiritual groups to ardently "convert" people to their own faith! Each person only has to know the Living Laws in order to form his life according to those Laws! Then everything will unfold perfectly for him and his conviction will be his own personal religion, not a blind faith that may have been inadvertently but wrongfully imposed upon him! He will recognise his own spiritual path, hitherto buried under the rubble of religious doctrines, traditions and customs that he had been brought up with from childhood.

Those who are earnestly seeking the right way at the present time, could gain very much from a thorough study of the Eternal Laws. In this regard, I can only point the way to "In the Light of Truth", The Grail Message, that special book which helped me find my own personal spiritual path in Creation.

In my personal search for the Truth, I have not come across any other book that even remotely approaches this particular Work in the perfection of its philosophy, in its explanations of the Eternal Laws of Creation, in its uncompromising severity and last but not least, in its unique language. For me, therefore, this Work is the ultimate Truth which, when objectively absorbed and applied, gives mankind the answers to all spiritual questions, both great and small, so that a living conviction, based on the Knowledge of Creation, can emerge. Therefore I am convinced that only the Knowledge in this book is the key to a new world of peace, happiness and harmony.

When the Indian people, whether living in India or abroad, have fully recognised these Laws and have made the conscious decision to live according to them, which means nothing other than adapting their lives to the operation of these Laws - bearing in mind that any choice in this regard will bring them either joy and peace or sorrow and discontent - then many Indian traditions will be recognised for what they really are.

Along with this, a significant number of rituals, customs and doctrines would no longer be blindly imposed on people by either religion or society. Duty itself would be non-existent, for there would only be a joyful and harmonious giving and taking!
