There is a view among many Indians that the cycle of rebirths is eternal. People imagine that
they have an infinite number of earth-lives during which they can develop towards perfection. This has led to
the unfortunate development that people do not want to make use of their present earth-life to change themselves
and atone for their karma. Instead they only pile up their guilt and thus lengthen their path towards spiritual
perfection.
However, we are not granted an infinite number of earth-lives! According to the Laws of Development, everything
is allotted a specific period during which it must either develop itself to full maturity or automatically
perish in the process. There are no exceptions to this rule. The opportunity to develop from a spirit seed into
a fully perfect human being is given to all without restraint! But if this opportunity is not made use of, then
the spirit seed must be cast aside as worthless, as useless before the Creator, which is nothing other than
eternal damnation.
In the process of its development, the spirit seed assumes a human form during its course in the World of Matter, as the
human form is synonymous with spiritual consciousness, since this human form is but the faintest reflection of
the likeness of of the Creator Himself. Consciousness or perfection in the free will leads to the development of
the human form, according to the Natural Laws. Hence, on earth, man is the only creature who can attain consciousness,
and with that, he assumes the human form. The animals cannot attain this consciousness, and therefore are not given
human forms.
The World of Matter is the field of development of the spirit seeds who must develop into perfect human spirits.
For this purpose, they are given the ethereal and gross material cloaks. But because Matter is only
temporal, unlike the Spiritual and Animistic Realms above it, there comes a time when all matter must be destroyed
and then re-born as primordial seed. This process of formation, evolution and dissolution is directed by the
three lofty beings, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva...!
We stand in the dissolution phase now taking place in the World of Matter. This is the World Judgment!
During this period, all karmaic actions are speeded up greatly, by the Power of the Light through a special Incarnation
of a Part of God, Who drives this purification process. Cycles of rebirth are accelerated to give many the
opportunity to quickly redeem themselves and come to recognition of the Truth. Those who succeed in freeing themselves
from the myriad wrong paths are then able to retain their consciousness when the ethereal and gross material cloaks
are dissolved, and can enter into the Spiritual Realm as perfect spirits. This is their spiritual resurrection, which
Christ promised. But those who have not developed sufficient strength to become free and attain full consciousness
remain spirit-seeds, and they lose everything when the cloaks are destroyed. This is spiritual death for them,
because all the part-consciousness which they had developed so far but which did not suffice for passing through the
"Mills of Judgment", is destroyed along with the cloaks!
Although a majority of this process takes place in the Ethereal World, the manifestations of the dissolution process
are becoming increasingly visible each day here on earth. We see it in the numerous wars, earthquakes, climatic changes
and numerous other phenomena, which have hitherto not taken place on the earth with such multiplicity! Many may
want to deny this quite vehemently by stating that not much has really changed, only that there is better media coverage
than before. But alas, such an attitude shows an incapacity to observe the rapidly changing world around us. Indeed, no
one seems to remember that never before in the history of humanity have two world wars taken place within a few decades
of one another in which so many were killed so soon!
The people of India, and of all the other nations of the world, stand in this great period of the Judgment. It is up to
each one of us to ensure that we are able to pass through this dissolution process into eternal life!
